Post Concussion Syndrome

The prolonged effects of concussions can easily be explained by an Upper Cervical subluxation. During impact, the upper portion of the Cervical spine misaligns putting pressure on the brainstem. This pressure affects the Nervous System and limits the athlete’s ability to heal and recover quickly and properly. In addition to nervous system impairment, concussions usually have other profound symptoms related to them.
Children and adults who are involved in high impact sports or who have suffered concussions in the past should be checked for an Upper Cervical misalignment.

Some associated symptoms of those whom may still be suffering from brain stem pressure associated with a past concussion are; Headaches, Fuzzy or Blurry vision, Nausea or Vomiting, Dizziness, Sensitivity to Light or Noise, Balance Problems, Coordination Problems, or Trouble Concentrating.
